VC-CWA Fair Booth and Scholarship award Success!
August 2025
In August this past year we had the opportunity to hand out $2,000 in scholarships to students working with different livestock. The students worked hard for months to raise the animals and get them ready for auction at the fair. It was a great selection of candidates that our scholarship committee enjoyed getting to know through their applications. The Youth in Ag scholarship fund was new this past year, and spearheaded by our own executive board member, Brianne Whitcomb. The chapter plans to foster and grow the program with match donations and more widespread fundraising for it.
