~ 2021 In Review ~
It’s hard to believe that the close of 2021 is on the near horizon. Before we bid 2021 farewell, consider some of the fun and learning that we did this year, even under the limitations imposed by COVID-19:
- We learned about local fermented ciders and honey - We visited with goats while they grazed to prevent wildfires - We learned about local avocados, coffee, pumpkins and squashes - We learned about the real causes of greenhouse gases (That was our one Zoom meeting - nowhere near as much fun as gathering in person, but click here to see that great educational video!) - We awarded college scholarships to 6 amazing students - We participated in CWA statewide meetings via Zoom and in person! - And a lot of our VC-CWA Sisters were featured in the 2020 Ventura County Crop Report! |
